| NEUROSIS (1) Definitions: i. A mental condition which causes people to have unnecessary fears and worries over a long period of time. ii. (medical) A mental illness in which a person suffers strong feelings of fear and worry. ______________________________________________________________________ * All six elements would be in. 1. Never based on a sound footing; no cause or reason for 'shakes'. 2. No risk or dare will be taken or attempted in the state. 3. No treatable or curable, even if this is claimed as possible. 4. Nothing will be benefited or gained in the condition. 5. Does not encourage docility or support inaction or indecisiveness. That is, some act, action, etc. will take place while having feelings. 6. Cannot be escaped or disguised.
