NAVIGABILITY

Definition: (of rivers, etc.) The condition of being wide and deep enough for ships and boats to sail on.

1. Data or information about width and depth is correct and current.

2. The forecasts about the sea or weather conditions are favourable.

3. Sea lane will not be crowded to result in an undesirable delay.

4. Route will be safe and secure, i.e., no activities of pirates.

5. Radio communication will not be a problem for captain, rower, etc.

6. Sailing route can be dredged, if necessary, in an emergency.
