| NATIONAL GOVERNMENT Definition: (mainly British) A national government is a government with members from more than one political party, especially one that is formed during a crisis. ______________________________________________________________________ * All nine elements should be in. 1. Purposeful to help avoid problem or chaos. 2. Necessary to keep anarchists and usurpers away. 3. Formed in line with the applicable norms, conventions, rules, etc. 4. Parties involved have majority in parliament or of the population. 5. Each of the parties had a good outing in a just concluded election. 6. Terms of a cooperation, power-sharing, etc. will be clearly known. 7. Administration will have a definite, unalterable mandate or tenure. 8.
