Definition: A person who tells a story, especially in a book, play or film/movie; the person who speaks the words in a television programme but who does not appear in it.

1. Purposeful (connect to #2).

2. Considered necessary to tell or speak.

3. Knows what he or she wants to tell, whether a truth or a lie, directed or of own volition, etc.

4. Talks or tells clearly and plainly. That is, strength of articulation is appropriate to get tale or message across.

5. Time or duration used to talk/speak is considered in order, not excessive - by the readers, hearers/listeners, watchers, etc. - whether story/programme is concluded or not.

6. Pronunciation, etc. is not confusing for the people listening, where applicable.

7. Person achieves objective(s) or serves purpose(s).

8. No unplanned loss arises from taling or speaking, especially to the talker or speaker - whatever story/programme is told/presented.
