| BAND (1) Definition: A small group of musicians who play popular music together, often with a singer or singers. ______________________________________________________________________ * All eleven elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary. 2. Number of musicians and singer(s), if applicable, is complete. 3. Members of group know each other fairly well. That is, musicians do not meet for the first time on the stage. (Connect to #4.) 4. Appropriate rehearsals will be undertaken before each show. 5. Performance of group will be coordinated, orderly and synchronized. 6. Small group has a leader. (To emphasize.) 7. Manner of playing or singing will not result in a damage to the musical instrument or vocal cords. 8. Gets the members of the audience and/or listeners and/or viewers involved, in a positive and/or participatory way. 9. Musicians and singer(s) are healthy enough - physically and mentally - so see gig through, as rehearsed and/or planned. And no member in group will pose a health risk to fan club member or other musicians, the singer(s), supporting staff, etc. 10. (Reserved.) (The entry fees for its shows or the cost of the CDs, etc. it releases, will be affordable. That is, group's show will be 'jam-packed' and/or sales and subsequent profit will be made from musical productions.) 11.
