| MYSTERY (1) Definition: Something that is difficult to understand or to explain. ______________________________________________________________________ * All eight elements would be in. 1. Thing can respond to the appropriate senses. That is, can be seen, heard, smelled, tasted and touched, as applicable. (KNOWN) 2. Thing can be appreciated or has an explanation, though this has not been had, given or received or believed/accepted. (OBSCURE) 3. Thing is not really confusing or complex or made obscurantist, especially or particularly if not understood. (WHAT?) 4. Thing is not an 'impossibility'. That is, has a presence: specific and identifiable, and probably measurable and/or assessable. (WHY? HOW?) 5. Thing is seemingly real or realistic. That is, like there is nothing to read between the lines concerning it. ('PLAIN', YET ...) 6. Thing has a strange pull, that makes it not easy to be ignored and not easy to be embraced. (INTRIGUING) 7. Thing is constantly being studied, researched or examined in an attempt to unravel what is lurking within it. (ABSORBING) 8.
