| MUSING Definition: A period of thinking carefully about something or telling people your thoughts about it. ______________________________________________________________________ * All eleven elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary for you and the listeners. 2. Thing being thought of is specific and identifiable. 3. You are in the right frame of mind and with the faculties working excellently at the time. 4. No distraction was encountered as you were thinking. 5. Concentration or focus was thorough all through the period. That is, thinking process was methodical and logical. 6. Duration of the thinking is appropriate or adequate to complete process and to help achieve goal(s). 7. What you end up stating as your thought(s) is/are the exact things you were thinking about. (To emphasize.) 8. There must be findings and conclusions, and these are sensible and reasonable (connect to #3 & #5). 9. Talk, commentary, etc. is listened to by audience and you give appropriate response and/or replies to all the questions that may be raised. 10. Act serves purpose(s), whatever this/these is/are (connect to #7). 11. Thinking and/or talking is not regretted at a later date or time. ____________________ CALCULATED. PUNCTILIOUS.
