| MUSEUM Definition: A building in which objects of artistic, cultural, historical or scientific interest are kept and shown to the public. ______________________________________________________________________ * All ten elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary. 2. Located or situated appropriately for easy, convenient access. 3. Building is clean, neat and tidy. 4. Structure is solid or well-built. 5. Arrangements inside building, of objects, etc. is convenient and comfortable, in respect of movement or mobility, for those who go in. 6. Place is safe, secured and protected, within and without. 7. Collection or contents in building are appropriate - ancient and modern, futuristic or relics, originals, etc. to attract tourists, researchers, etc. That is, some benefit (= knowledge!) can be obtained from place. 8. Ownership of artefacts, treasures, etc. inside building, is not in doubt or dispute. And management is innovative in updating collection. 9. Management of place is efficient and effective, in respect of guides, rules, finances, etc. 10. Archive achieves objective(s) or serves purpose(s). ___________________________________________ ...
