| MR. NICE GUY Definition: (informal) A way of describing a man who is very honest and thinks about the wishes and feelings of other people. ______________________________________________________________________ * Description holds if man ... 1. Forgives a transgressor immediately he is offended and declares this to the offender, without conditions being attached to kindness. 2. Makes a full confession and asks for forgiveness where he had been caught to have sinned, or broken a law, or flouted a regulation, etc. 3. Promptly admits errors and mistakes, incompetence and limitation, etc. without buck-passing or blaming another. And thereafter seeks to make amends or corrections while learning from the experiences and adventures or from other people's misbehaviour and betrayal. 4. Remains focused and so knows what he wants to do and seeks lawful ways to succeed. That is, he will be determined and self-motivated. 5. Bears with quietism and equanimity - not timidity - scorn and/or personal insults, disappointment or let-downs, etc., when appropriate. 6. Conforms with the crowd; no nit-picker or rabble-rouser. That is, cannot upset the apple cart or upturn an established scheme of things. 7. Helps or renders assistance without being coaxed or cajoled and/or appeased before acting. That is, ever ready and willing to be 'used'. 8. Will never be jealous or angry, conceited or selfish, boastful or seek vengeance, mislead or misdirect another person, etc., even if ... 9.
