| MONOPOLIZATION (2) Definition: The act or process of having or taking a large part of somebody's attention or time so that they are unable to speak to or deal with other people. ______________________________________________________________________ * All seven elements would be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary for the 'monopolist(s)'. 2. Not prepared for or expected by the 'captured' person! 3. Person monopolized desires to talk with or deal with others. And others are also willing and ready to talk with or establish a contact with the person. 4. No use of force is involved in gaining control of the attention or focus, or time or moments of the person 'captured'. 5. Some gain, no matter how little, is made by the monopolist(s) and the captured prey (to emphasize). That is, action erves purpose(s). 6. Others denied access, contact, etc., make losses as a direct consequence of person being monopolized. 7.
