| MONEY-GRUBBER Definition: (informal, disapproving) A person who tries to get a lot of money. ______________________________________________________________________ * All nine elements would be in. 1. Purposeful, even if only known to person and whether money when got will be misused or wisely spent (see perfect MONEY (3)). 2. Effort is considered necessary in the opinion of person making attempt(s) (see perfect MONEY (2)). 3. Means adopted will be legal and authorized. Or hope will be that a try using illegal, unapproved methods will go undetected (see perfect MONEY (1)). 4. Has an idea of exactly what he or she wants to do with the loads of money, if got (see perfect MILLIONAIRE). 5. Makes or has made provisions for safe custody, before funds will be expended, when eventually got. (see perfect NUMBERED ACCOUNT). 6. (Reserved.) (Person will be looking for the 'right' currency so that a lot really means loads.) (See perfect HARD CURRENCY.) 7. Pays or will pay all legal and official fines, taxes, dues, etc., if any, on the way to acquisition (see perfect EMBEZZLEMENT). 8. Will suffer no disgrace or an unplanned loss - physical, emotional, psychological, financial, professional or career, etc. - in the process of search, especially if person is using money to look for more money!
