| MISSION (1) Definition: An important official job that a person or group of people is given to do, especially when they are sent to another country. ______________________________________________________________________ * All eight elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary in the opinion of approving authority. 2. Task/tasks to be done is/are specific and identifiable; detailed. 3. Person or persons in group are qualified, complete and competent. 4. The wherewithal to perform task is made available to person or group. That is, required all-round support, in respect of logistics, funding, information, etc. are given to person or group. 5. Task is not considered illegal in place or country where it is to take place. (To emphasize.) 6. Job is doable, even if it is to be carried out in enemy country or unfriendly territory (connect to #5 & #8). 7. No death of person(s) charged with assignment will occur, in the course of performing duty, unless this is possibility is known, by all, from the beginning. 8.
