| MISKICK Definition: (journalism) A ball that is badly kicked in a game such as football, and that does not go in the direction you want it to. ______________________________________________________________________ * All five elements would be in. 1. Preparation, readiness, expectation, etc. was for a good kick. 2. There can be no excuse in the situation. That is, no disturbance (= a push, pull) or an obstacle (= an object, your state) to use as a scapegoat for the misdirection of a ball that was kicked by you. 3. Ball was in the proper shape and placed rightly (connect to #3). 4. No unplanned loss, whether psychological or physical will be suffered by player, as a direct consequence of poor performance. That is, confidence will not be hit and no dislocation, etc. will occur. 5.
