MISJUDGEMENT (2)

Definition: The act of estimating something such as time or distance wrongly.

1. Estimate obtained from (mis)calculation is not close to the right (= correct) answer (= result).

2. All the relevant tools necessary to make a proper estimate were possessed. That is, no justification can be made for error.

3. The elements of nature were not obscure or hazy during the process or period (connect to #2).

4. An immediate loss, regret, etc. occurs as a direct consequence.

5. What is lost can be recouped or regained in the future. That is, an opportunity can be available or provided in the situation, for a lesson to be learned.
