Purposeful and necessary in the opinion of (mis)handler. 2. Recipient or object is considered deserving of roughness. 3. Loss of self-worth or a reduction in value results from situation. 4. No damage is suffered by hand(s), finger(s), tool(s), etc. used to perpetuate roughness and carelessness. 5. No opportunity for person or thing to try to avoid careless and rough handling. (Or person or animal cannot react or respond appropriately to the bad treatment.) 6.
