Definition: The lowest wage that an employer is allowed to pay by law.
______________________________________________________________________

* All seven elements should be in.

1. Purposeful and necessary.

2. Negotiated with the labour or trade union - not imposed on hapless employer(s) or little people. (That is, law is not passed before start or conclusion of negotiations.)

3. Prices of basic items (= groceries, transport fares, rent, etc.) do not soar immediately law comes into force.

4. Amount is enough to survive on, in the earner's estimation.

5. Some savings can be made from amount (to emphasize, connect to #6).

6. No immediate need, clamour, agitation, etc. will be made for an upward review (= an increase), soon after law comes into effect. That is, pay is OK!

7. Paid fully, correctly and timely, with the full arrears due, if applicable. That is, there will be no reduction, through a deduction made under any guise, and no delay in its release, for any reason.
