| MIME (1) Definition: (especially in the theatre) The use of movements of your hands or body and the expressions on your face to tell a story or to act something without speaking; a performance using this method of acting. ______________________________________________________________________ * All seven elements should be in. 1. Purposeful [see perfect ENTERTAINMENT (1).] 2. Necessary to tell story this way [see perfect MESSAGE (2).] 3. Person using hands, body, etc. has no obvious physical challenge and/or strange facial features to make actions and/or interpretation confusing or difficult (see perfect RICTUS). 4. No mistake is made during movements of body parts or while making facial expressions. And no request for a repetition of a move by any, some or all of the watcher(s) will be made (see perfect LIP-READING). 5. No damage is done to venue (= a stage) or the environment. And no injury is suffered during portrayal which might lead to a misinterpretation of moves [see perfect MOVEMENT (1).] 6. The steps of the performance are completed, whatever is involved and however long 'storytelling' lasts (see perfect GESTICULATION). 7. Movements will serve purpose(s). That is, storytelling or performance will be believed or understood, whether booed or applauded, in the end, by the audience [see perfect DAMN (1).] __________________________________________ ...
