| MILITARIZATION (1) Definition: The process or act of sending armed forces to an area. ______________________________________________________________________ * All nine elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and approved, where required. And specific and identifiable terms of engagement are assigned the troops. 2. Considered a necessity, especially by the powers with authority over the military. 3. Initially welcomed, by people, if any, in the area - to maintain or restore peace, repair damage, etc. 4. Personnel of the armed forces cover/hold all the areas concerned. But do not cause an avoidable environmental damage, destruction or despoliation of the ecosystem of particular area. 5. No serious illegal infraction(s) of the freedom of the human inhabitants, if any, in area, takes or take place. And no cruelty to animals and/or creatures in the environment. 6. The 'jackboots' stay in area is for a reasonable, tolerable period, whatever the mandate given. 7. Does not lead to the rise of an unapproved militia or militancy, in protest at the activities undertaken by 'occupying forces'. 8. Members of the armed forces achieve the mission(s) of deployment. 9.
