Mezuzah
MEZUZAH

Definition: (Judaism) A piece of parchment inscribed on one side with a name of God (Shaddai) and on the other side with lines from Deuteronomy (vi, 4-9 and xi, 13-21). It is rolled in a scroll, placed on a case, and fastened to the doorposts of Jewish homes.
