| MESSAGE (1) Definitions: i. An inspired revelation. ii. An official communication. ______________________________________________________________________ We can live in a better world. And the life you have at present can be of a much higher quality. But we must work at these. What is required to attain a more peaceful, united and prosperous world is, for us, its inhabitants, to know the ideal or right thing to do in any given occasion or circumstance; and to do it, whatever the situation. The thing to do need not be about personal or self, someone else's, group or clan, special, sectional, religious, economic, partisan or political interest(s). It should only be about one thing: doing whatever it is, properly and correctly - even if it does not directly and/or immediately or later benefit us. And we should all be involved in making life or living more meaningful, for men and women as individuals and for us collectively, as humanity. So, whether as a passenger (fare paying or a hitchhiker) in a vehicle; a teacher or student; a cop; a paparazzo; a member of a mob; a supervisor; a sailor; a doctor; an ex-husband; a mistress; a barber etc., we all, in our respective, specific and special ways can contribute to having a better world. Before a thing is done or said, or even if one is passive in a situation, the reasonable thing to do is that proper consideration be given to the WHY, WHAT, WHEN, WHERE, HOW and additionally, the WITH, TO or FOR - what or whom - of the deed, situation, etc. If and when each one of us consciously or deliberately decides, every time, to do or say the right thing - which most of us truly know, deep in our hearts - then we will be moving towards an ideal world. When or if you said or did the proper thing but didn't gain/profit from it, would you repeat same, that is, say or do the right thing again, every other thing being equal? While perfection is of God and may be, therefore, unattainable - even as some say we were made in HIS image - can't we, at least, know those characteristics or attributes or elements that make a thing or situation perfect? To know the ideal and proper thing to do, or to be reminded, in any situation of the right thing to do, whatever your calling, age, sex, religious persuasion, etc... you must seek knowledge and... apply it positively, when found. It's very possible. | |
