| BALANCE OF POWER (1) Definitions: i. A situation in which political or military strength is divided between two countries or groups of countries. ii. Parity between rival nations or groups of nations, preserved by systems of military or economic alliances, or both. iii. The way in which power is distributed between rival groups or countries. ______________________________________________________________________ * All seven elements would be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary to have 'balanced' distribution. 2. Full disclosure or complete transparency is available in situation. 3. No research or development of new sources of power will be ongoing. 4. No manoeuvres or war gaming will be on that may be misconstrued. 5. No secret 'talks', alliances or cooperation exists. 6.
