| MELTING POT (1) Definition: A place or situation in which large numbers of people, ideas, etc. are mixed together. ______________________________________________________________________ * All nine elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary, especially for people to remain in place. 2. Largeness is of a variety. That is, place contains different kinds of persons and a potpourri of ideas. 3. No force of threat of violence is used to keep any person in place. And rights or privileges, as established by laws, rules or regulations, etc. are enforced under all circumstances. 4. Ideas in existence are not being tested or are not experimental. And full protection will be available or guaranteed for theories, discoveries, intellectual property rights, etc. 5. No serious or undeserved loss will be suffered by whoever or whatever is in situation. That is, orderliness and peacefulness, based on justice (= fairness and equity), will reign in place. 6. Cooperation, coexistence, tolerance, unity, etc. amongst all the people present will be the mainstay of situation. 7. No domination or oppression by any group takes place in situation such that existence of the suppresses, a minority or disadvantaged will not be at full potential. (Connect to #5.) 8. Mix or mixture in place remains intact, and controlled, for period desired by all the components. That is, no fear of place being overpopulated by people or 'oversaturated' with ideas. 9.
