| MEGALOMANIA Definition: A mental illness or condition in which somebody has an exaggerated belief in their own importance or power. ______________________________________________________________________ * All six elements would be in. 1. Person will be expecting, demanding, hoping, etc. for respect, obeisance, praise, compliments, etc. 2. Permanently acts conceitedly, even if never taken seriously by normal, serious people. 3. Confidently issues commands, threats, makes promises, etc. though these will all be hot air. 4. Will take risks and dare, believing that carriage, swagger, loudness of voice, etc. will help achieve goal(s). 5. Will feel no shame or remorse, disappointment or let-down, etc. as a result of 'orders', etc. being ineffective - will always have an explanation for the bad treatment that may be received. 6.
