| MEDIA CIRCUS Definition: (disapproving) If an event is described as a media circus, a large group of people from the media is there to report on it and take photographs. ______________________________________________________________________ * All nine elements should be in. 1. Coverage of event will be purposeful and necessary. 2. Place or area cannot be organized or orderly at the time. 3. Jostling, hustling and bustling will pose a danger to attenders. 4. Outcome of happenings will be considered 'pic and newsworthy'. 5. Reports and photos cannot be claimed as scoops or breaking news. 6. Organizers of event and journalists will not exchange any money. 7. Reportage and photographs will be factually correct and clear. That is, what will be published will not be manipulated or sexed-up. 8. No media house will be prevented from being present at event. 9.
