| ME-TOO DRUG Definition: (usually "me-too" drug) A drug that is identical, similar, or closely related to a drug produced for which a new drug application has been approved, the sale of which is permitted under the same approval procedure. ______________________________________________________________________ * All six elements would be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary for the producer/applicant. 2. Name won't be known or same as drug already in use. 3. Its efficacy won't be in dispute in some medical circles. 4. Selling price of medicament won't be same as older established one. 5. Serves purpose(s), i.e., able to treat, cure, etc. a disease, an ailment, etc. 6.
