| MAVERICK (1) Definition: A person who does not behave or think like everyone else, but who has independent, unusual opinions. ______________________________________________________________________ * All seven elements would be in. 1. Has his or her senses in an excellent condition. And will be in the right frame of mind at particular point in time. 2. Thinks thoroughly or deeply before doing an act, taking action or prior inaction. And will be personally convinced on any position or stance adopted. 3. Will be very ready and most willing to defend, argue or debate issues in contention - not respond or react negatively to comments or actions about his or her nature, personality, etc. (connect to #6). 4. Independent-mindedness will be satisfactory to person. That is, no unplanned loss will be suffered from position(s) taken. In other words, will have no regret, make no apology, for being a 'stand-alone' 5. (Reserved.) (Will not change mind, renounce or recant position, especially when the 'prospects' don't look promising or bright.) 6. Never gets into a fight, fisticuffs, shouting match, etc. as a result of disagreements or differences in opinions with others. That is, has self-restraint, some sense of self-control or self-confidence and/or self-possession. 7.
