BAIL (1)

Definition: Money that somebody agrees to pay if a person accused of a crime does not appear at their trial. When bail has been arranged, the accused person is allowed to go free until the trial.

1. Purposeful and necessary.

2. Amount will be specific and identifiable.

3. Arrangement (= payment) will be legal in the eye of the law.

4. Accused will be consulted before fund provider seals 'deal', whether an intention to abscond is disclosed or not.

5. Money will be paid to the right quarters. (To emphasize.)

6. Sum will be paid timely, in the opinion of the accused being held.

7. Amount will not be so much as to ruin who provides help, particularly if 'criminal' decides to 'jump' !

8. Serves purpose(s) - provides for the accused, a temporary release or some permanent 'freedom' !
