| MARRIAGE GUIDANCE Definition: (British English) Advice that is given by specially trained people to couples with problems in their marriage. ______________________________________________________________________ * All nine elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary. 2. Jointly consented to by couple. 3. Sought timely, before problem becomes intractable. 4. Provided promptly. That is, couple was attended to, by 'expert', at the earliest possible time. 5. Advice is real, practical and/or workable, even if adviser is a confirmed bachelor/spinster or an unrepentant, irredeemable divorcee ! 6. Adviser does not take advantage, afterwards, of the couple, especially to establish a romantic relationship with either or both. 7. Dithering relationship is stabilized as a direct outcome of advice received/heard, and made use of. 8. (Reserved.) (Adviser is not visited, again, at a later date over the same issue. That is, solution is sustainable/permanent.) 9.
