| MARAUDER (1) Definition: A person or animal that goes around a place in search of things to steal or people to attack. ______________________________________________________________________ * All eight elements would be in. 1. The human or animal has a purpose, and considers it a necessity, justified or not, to commit illegality (thieving) or wrong (mauling). 2. Place will be familiar and its 'richness' will be confirmed. Or if and where operating environment is new, raider will be ready to dare. ___________________ VERY BRAVE... 3. Person knows exactly what is desired to be stolen, or animal knows who or where to tear or bite or scratch during the course of attack. 4. Ready and prepared for resistance, opposition, contenders, if any, etc. That is, person or animal makes suitable preparation for 'fight'. _______________________ VERY POWERFUL... 5. Will have adequate or enough time to wait for a chance, or grovel to catch, or follow the prey. And exercises the required patience. 6. Achieves goal(s) of search, even if he or she, or it, sustains a wound or an injury in the process of searching for loot or 'target'. ________________________ VERY INTELLIGENT... 7. Will make maximum use of the goods stolen or take full advantage obtained from the attack carried out, for as long as will be desired. 8. Lives long enough to enjoy the loot or freedom and won't consider success, in spite of the efforts involved, as Pyrrhic victory.
