| MANHUNT Definition: An organized search by a lot of people for a criminal or a prisoner who has escaped. ______________________________________________________________________ * All eight elements would be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary. 2. Criminal or prisoner is specific and identifiable. And known or his or her picture(s) provided or made available to searchers. 3. The organization of the people involved in search is believed adequate to help achieve goal(s). 4. No unplanned loss will be suffered by the searchers in the course of hunting for criminal or escapee. 5. No unjustifiable damage or destruction to the environment or ecosystem would occur as a direct outcome of search. And public or private property will not be undeservedly damaged in the process. 6. Hunt or pursuit lasts for duration necessary (connect to #7). 7. Search achieves objective(s). That is, criminal or escapee will be caught or apprehended, however long it takes, ... alive and well. 8. Criminal or escapee, on being caught, will face the law, not jungle or instant/mob justice!
