Bad cheque
BAD CHEQUE

Definition: A bank cheque that will not be paid because there is a mistake on it, or because there is not enough money in the account of the person who wrote it.

1. Purposefully and deliberately made bad. That is, issuer knowingly made a mistake or is aware of the funds in account being insufficient.

2. Cheque will be presented. That is, effort would be made for it to be made 'good'; to be paid.

3. Mistake cannot be corrected by payee or overlooked by banker. And available additional funds will not be paid into account, if demanded.

4. No contact or communication will be made between bank and account holder after presentation of cheque and discovery of 'error'.

5. Losses, inconvenience, etc. will be suffered by payee as a result.

6. Issuer of dud instrument will not be sanctioned or penalized. That is, 'wickedness' achieves goal(s), for payer, as exactly hoped for.

7. An (insincere) apology, where demanded, will be purportedly issued afterwards, by who issued dishonoured financial instrument.
