| LUNATIC ASYLUM Definitions: i. (old-fashioned, especially British English) An institution where mentally ill people live. ii. Only qualified mental health professionals will be in charge, performing duties satisfactorily; effectively and efficiently. 5. The staff and/or management will be safe while carrying out duties. 6. Place will pose no health risk to inmates. That is, inside will be clean, neat and tidy for all who will come to live in place. 7. Serves purpose(s), no matter the number of mental patients inside.
