| LOVEBIRD (2) Definition: (usually - lovebirds) (humorous) Two people who love each other very much and show this in their behaviour. ______________________________________________________________________ * All nine elements would be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary. WHATEVER. 2. Not worried about 'negative' comments, hisses, snide remarks, etc. WHAT CARE ? 3. Not bothered about location, venue, event or circumstance, where behaviour is displayed. WHAT SHAME ? 4. Tolerates the darling partner's - that is, each others - habits, idiosyncrasies, personal deficiencies, if any, etc., that is noticed during expression of emotions. WHAT'S A PUT-DOWN OR PUT OFF ? 5. Behaviour does not comprise illegalities. That is, no penalty, unplanned loss, disgrace, etc. will be suffered as a direct consequence of being lovey-dovey. And relationship is not incestuous. WHAT DANGER ? 6. Others are not disturbed, encumbered or inconvenienced by smooches, whispers, kisses, 'play', etc. WHAT EMBARRASSMENT ? 7. Protective of the partner and his or her actions or inaction. That is, will defend their joint activities and where necessary, ensure that a passion-expression move is concluded. WHAT HURRY ? 8. Will display public or private loving affection or behaviour with only one 'bird', at a time. Wait ..., WHY NOT ? 9. Serves purpose(s) or achieves objective(s).
