Loss (1)
LOSS (1)

Definition: The state of no longer having something or as much of something; the process that leads to this.
______________________________________________________________________

* All five elements would be in.

* This is not about the process.

1. Basis of disappearance or reason for lessening or shortage is known; specific and identifiable.

2. Disappearance or reduction is justifiable, whether man-made or natural. That is, what thing is spent or expended on can be deemed positive, beneficial or necessary.

3. Not a 'shock'. That is, not an unexpected disappearance or reduction. And no attempt will be made, therefore, to stop or delay disappearance or lessening.

4. State can be coped with. And what is gone cannot be recouped, regained or recalled. That is, state will be sustained for some period of time. (Connect to #3.)

5. New situation or remainder of thing(s) or the people left, does or do not become useless or ineffective as a direct result of what or who disappeared or left. That is, some progress can still be achieved in new state, with what is left. Or what is gone does not kill a (the) dream.
