| LOOKOUT (3) Definition: The act of looking out, a keeping watch. ______________________________________________________________________ * All seven or eight elements, as applicable, would be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary. That is, suspicion of danger or threat, chance or opportunity, will be real, clear and present. 2. Position and/or location will be appropriate and suitable - standing or sitting, crouching or crawling, living or dying. 3. The direction(s) or area(s) concentrated on by look will be deemed as right in the circumstances, part or total, small or big. 4. Focus will be specific and identifiable. That is, the vision or search will not tolerate a distraction or condone digression. 5. The person or group watching will have the wherewithal to respond or react properly, if any development arises therein. 6. The act or keeping will be sustained for as long as directed or desired. That is, activity will be thorough and consistent. 7. Serves purpose(s) or achieves goal(s), whatever this/these is/are, whether or not someone or something was seen during period. 8.
