| LOLLY SCRAMBLE Definition: (New Zealand English) Sweets scattered on the ground for children to collect. ______________________________________________________________________ * All seven elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary, to have children struggle for sweets. 2. Struggle and/or scampering about will be supervised by an adult. That is, the 'game' will have some rules binding on the participants. 3. Spread will be over the whole of a place or ground. (To emphasize.) 4. All the sweets available will be of very high quality or grade, in wrappings and surface of the playground will be clean, neat and safe. 5. No redistribution of 'pickings' will take place after a 'fight'. 6. No child will sustain an injury in the course of scrambling for goodies. Or any wounded or injured child will be quickly attended to. And the ground will not be damaged by the struggles of the children. 7.
