| LODGER Definition: (especially British English) A person who pays rent to live in somebody's house. ______________________________________________________________________ * All nine elements should be in. 1. Has a purpose and considers situation a necessity. 2. Pays the agreed rent - fully, correctly and timely, promptly. 3. Does not undertake an illegal activity in the house or around the premises of the house. 4. Conduct and behaviour will be considered appropriate, in the homeowner's opinion, whether person is with or without a family. 5. Healthy and fit, and not with a contagious or communicable disease, especially if homeowner is also resident in the house. 6. Clean, neat, tidy and with a high sense of personal hygiene. 7. Friendly, courteous and warm, especially to visitors, guests, family, etc., if any, of homeowner. 8. Will give facilities and structure maximum maintenance - not causing a serious damage or defacing the house. 9. Will honour a properly and/or legally issued 'quit notice'.
