| LOCKDOWN Definition: (North American English) A situation in which restrictions are placed on somebody's movements or actions. ______________________________________________________________________ * All nine elements would be in. 1. Purposeful for the general good (to emphasize). 2. Considered very necessary to place restrictions. 3. Appropriately authorized or approved. That is, situation cannot be successfully challenged in the future and ruled as illegal. 4. There is an urgent or a pressing need or desire by 'victim' to move around and about, and to do some acts or actions. 5. (Reserved.) (No explanation will be offered, if demanded, by restricted party. And no conversation will be had with the person under restrictions, while situation lasts.) 6. Lasts for a duration that will be thought excessive, in the opinion of 'victim', that is considered inappropriate. 7. Nothing sustainably profitable can be done or engaged in during the period. A serious loss will, therefore, arise as a consequence. 8. No physical force will be employed to enforce restrictions. 9.
