LOCK-IN

Definition: (British English) An occasion when customers are locked in a bar or club after it has closed so that they can continue drinking privately.

1. Purposeful and necessary for owners or management and drinkers.

2. Not an illegality. That is, situation is allowed in/by law.

3. Nothing illegal, illicit, immoral, etc. is done behind closed doors, which could not have been attempted before 'closing time'.

4. Quality and condition of drinks will be as demanded by drinkers.

5. Price(s) on offer will not be different from before closing time price list(s). (Or drunks/drinkers, will not notice any change(s) in price(s), if any was effected.)

6. Serves purpose(s), however short or long extra period lasts, without a damage to bar or club premises or danger to drunken guests.

7. There will be liberty, for the drunken patrons to leave bar or club, at whatever time desired, whether 'sober' or inebriated.
