Purposeful and necessary, even if not appreciated. 2. Desired for parts to be locked, even if temporarily. 3. Cause or reason can be known or traced, and amended if desired. 4. State can be controlled; unlocked. That is, no unplanned loss will be suffered by parts being immovable. And no damage will occur to machine, etc. as a result of 'rest'. 5.
