LITIGIOUSNESS

Definition: (formal, disapproving) The quality of being too ready to take disagreements to court.

1. Considered purposeful and necessary for person displaying quality.

2. No serious attempt to resolve issue out of court will be made or proposed by the person who is too willing.

3. Belief of person is that outcome of litigation will be favourable.

4. No unplanned loss will be suffered as a direct result of readiness.

5. There will be no plan to try to inappropriately influence the outcome of court processes. That is, no intention to put pressure on the judge(s) or jurors.

6. An apology, plea, offer of a compensation, etc. will not be accepted by eager litigant.

7. There will be an ability and/or a readiness to bear the costs - financial and physical - of decision.

8. Ability achieves objective(s) or serves purpose(s).
