Litigant
LITIGANT

Definitions:

i. A person who is making or defending a case in court.

ii. (legal) A person who is involved in a civil legal case, either because they are making a formal complaint about someone, or because a complaint is being made about them.

1. Purposeful and considers act - accusation or defence - necessary.

2. Can meet all the costs, including if necessary, going on an appeal.

3. Will listen, if not representing himself or herself, to his/her solicitor's or lawyer's advice or suggestions, before, during, and if applicable, after 'trial'.

4. Will always be present in court, voluntarily at first, or will be available, if necessary, whenever subpoenaed. And person will not commit contempt of court during the proceedings.

5. Won't withdraw case or plead guilty, unless an out of court settlement is satisfactorily secured or an admission of 'guilt', if made, will be considered to be more profitable in the end.

6. Achieves objective(s) of not resorting to mob justice.
