| LITANY (2) Definitions: i. [ ~ (of something)] (formal) A long boring account of a series of events, reasons, etc. ii. If you describe what someone says as a litany of things, you mean that you have heard it many times before, and you think it is boring or insincere. ______________________________________________________________________ * All eight elements would be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary for loudmouth to talk. 2. There was no expectation or preparation to hear tales. 3. Interruption or a conversation stopper will be ineffective. 4. Place or environment where talk takes place will be unavoidable. 5. Talk will be listened to and heard completely, till it ends. 6. Annoyance or disappointment will not lead to an unplanned loss. 7. Talker will normally hope for a response or comment from listener. 8.
