| LINE (29) Definition: (British, usually plural) A certain number of lines of verse, or repetitions of a sentence, to be written out as a school punishment. ______________________________________________________________________ * All five elements would be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary to punish student in nonviolent way. 2. Verses or sentence will be spelled or written out correctly. 3. Length or number will be considered as much by an offender (the writer). That is, considerable period of time will be spent serving the punishment. 4.
