| LIMP Definition: A way of walking in which one leg is used less than normal because it is injured or stiff: a limping gait. ______________________________________________________________________ * All six elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary to walk, pronounced or slight, with difficulty. 2. Cause of injury or stiffness is known; specific and identifiable. 3. (Reserved.) (Injury is incurable, but stiffness can be treated.) 4. No unplanned or additional loss - a taunt, derision, etc. - will be suffered as a direct result of manner of walking (to emphasize). 5. Rate or speed of movement will be hampered but adequate to reach destination for when desired or planned. 6. Serves purpose(s).
