Life coaching
LIFE COACHING

Definition: The activity of advising somebody about how to achieve the things they want in their life and work.

FIRST STEP.
___________

1. Advice seeker is ready to listen and will be attentive. That is, person will have a purpose and consider it a necessity to seek advice/coaching. (See perfect WILLINGNESS (1).)



STEP 2.

2. Person seeking advice is asked to acknowledge and acknowledges the owner of the life he/she thinks is his/hers. (See perfect MAKER (2).)



THREE.
______

3. Person being advised is asked to confirm aspirations at work or in life - what level/position/rank, etc. is being aimed at? What gain is being looked for? What plans, for a post-retirement life, if any? Etc., etc. (See perfect INSPIRATION (1).)

4. Person is asked to confirm the observed strengths and weaknesses, if any (?). And the coach should demand and get honest replies and/or answers. (See perfect PROBITY.)



STEP FOUR.

5. The ability to recognize opportunities are introduced or taught to, or developed with, the 'student'. (See perfect SEARCH (1).)

6. 'Student' is provided with the requisite knowledge, skill, etc. through relevant training, collaboration, support, etc. to enable 'learner' to be able to seize any lawful opening for progress. That is, advice that will be given will be sound at all times. (See perfect LEARNING (1).)



FIVE.

7. Coach monitors the progress and growth of the person seeking help. And watches the practical steps taken or wrongly taken in line with, or against, the counsel offered. And 'teacher' points out, early enough, to the 'student', any mistake(s) that would have been made. (See perfect LEPER (2).)

8. Coach evaluates and briefs 'student' timely on the findings or discoveries. And sustains an interest in the development of 'student' by making suggestions for changes, where necessary. (See perfect MENTORING.)



PENULTIMATE STEP.

9. Coach encourages the development of the necessary tools - faith, courage, focus, determination, hard work, etc. for 'student' to carry on without much further guidance. (See perfect INSIGHT (1).)

10. Prepares the mind of 'student' for the possibility of risks (read: failure, disappointment, shock, betrayal, etc.) that may arise during the course of struggle. (See perfect DESTINY (1).)



FINALLY.

11. Coach releases or eases the influence on, or control over, the advice-seeker. That is, activity or effort continues or lasts for only a specified period. (See perfect LIBERTY (1).)

12. The coach is a success in his or her own way. Prays for the 'student' to succeed, and will not hesitate to give a good reference or recommendation, about protege/protegee, where requested! (To emphasize.) (See perfect NETWORKING.)
