| LIBRARY (1) Definition: A building in which collections of books, CDs, newspapers, etc. are kept for people to read, study or borrow. ______________________________________________________________________ * All eight elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary. 2. Collection is rich, even if not 'complete'. That is, what is wanted by students, researchers, etc. can be found in building. And materials are in proper readable, usable, etc. format/condition. 3. Referencing arrangements or provisions are very easy. That is, material or item that will be sought can be relatively quickly found. 4. Organization and management of place is effective and efficient. 5. Place is clean, neat and tidy, especially the internal atmosphere of building. And environment is conducive for learning, reading, listening, watching, etc. 6. The building(s) and its/their surroundings are safe, secured and adequately protected. 7. Structure(s) of building(s) is/are solid; well-built. 8. Serves purpose(s). That is, access, service, provisions, etc. needed can be obtained by patrons/visitors, etc., at the most favourable terms. ____________________________ * WHOEVER ITS OWNER(S).
