Definition: (British English) An event or a statement that allows somebody to avoid having to do something.

1. Event or statement is not engineered, instituted or incited by the person who will end up avoiding to take an action.

2. Event cannot be nullified/cancelled and statement cannot be withdrawn/recanted, such that what was thought avoided will end up being done at a later time/date.

3. No possibility to dodge occasion (event) or comment (statement), however hard person tries to be absent or inattentive.

4. Avoidance will bring no unplanned loss. And inaction will not be deemed an illegality.

5. There will be no bad reaction, response or overreaction to what is seen or witnessed, or to what is said, such that inaction will be later regretted. That is, it will not be wished afterwards that event did not happen or that statement was not made.
