| LET-DOWN Definition: Something that is disappointing because it is not as good as you expected it to be. ______________________________________________________________________ * All six elements would be in. 1. Hopes, aspirations, expectation, etc. had been built on a positive or better result/outcome from thing. (Connect to #2.) 2. Prospects and promise shown was bright and encouraging. That is, there was a basis for expecting something better than what was received in the end. (Connect #3.) 3. Some sort of assurance or guarantee existed in the beginning that thing would not be a flop. (Connect to #4.) 4. There would have been things that could have been done if disappointment was expected. That is, there was an ability to prevent situation, only if there was a forewarning. (Connect to #5.) 5. Loss suffered in the situation is considered significant and will not be possible to be recouped. (Connect to #6.) 6. Something is still able to be salvaged in or from the situation. That is, disappointment is not considered as 'the end'. In other words, an effort to restart and try again can still be made after. ________ SORRY.
