Definition: (idiomatic - give somebody a leg-up) (British English, informal) To help somebody get on a horse, over a wall, etc. by allowing them to put their foot in your hands and lifting them up.

2. Pressure of step or weight does not cause a damage to your hands.

3. Horse or wall is not wounded or defaced by your hand.

4. Help does not include an additional hold or support by any other part(s) of the body, such as the knee, head, etc.

5. (Reserved.) (Person being helped makes a push to climb!)

6. Help succeeds. That is, horse is got on, wall is climbed, etc.

7. Hands are washed or cleaned appropriately afterwards.
